Marja Coons-Torn

Marja Coons-Torn always imagined herself as a novelist, and finally the characters and plot of The Franklin Key wouldn't leave her alone! This time travel thriller is her debut novel, and she is hard at work on its sequel, The Galileo Ducat, set largely in Tuscany. She’s excited about continuing to write, and all kinds of things seem possible. She has a children's book in the works, tentatively called The Fairy Godchild.

Marja and her husband Jim live in Western New York, where they enjoy travel and books almost as much as they enjoy the beauty of Lake Erie and Niagara Falls. Marja is a retired non-profit executive with a quirky sense of humor. She believes the best stories are born from a healthy dose of imagination and a little bit of chaos. Marja is eager to introduce her readers to Leah Goodwell, whose adventures take her into the company of Benjamin Franklin.
