Marja Coons-Torn

I love writing time travel novels and am working on my third one right now. In my first novel, The Franklin Key, Leah Goodwell finds out she’s the ninth generation of time traveler in her family. With the help of her Guardian, Ben Franklin, Leah sets out to fix “glitches” in history that could have devastating consequences. She’s given a big assignment—stop a terrorist group using clues from historic Topkapi Palace in Istanbul.

In my second novel, Leah goes to Italy to find out if there is another time traveling family, one that works with famous scientist and heretic Galileo. She meets Aurora Sforzi, for whom Galileo is the Guardian who sends her on missions.  Together, Leah and Aurora  have to foil a kidnapping that could prevent the Italian Revolution from coming to fruition.

Both books are fun, engaging, and available in multiple formats. My new project is called The Marco Polo Porcelain. Much of it is set in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Are you game for a new adventure?
