Do you live in Western New York?

If you live anywhere near Buffalo, there’s a Holiday Shop at Fox Run Retirement Community in Orchard Park on Thursday, November 19 from 10-2. I’ll be one of the vendors, and I’ll have all six of my books for sale. I’m especially excited to have the second Fairy Godfather book available. It’s called The Fairy Godfather Goes to School. And there’s a third one coming next year—The Fairy Godfather Goes to the Zoo.

I’ll have lots of copies of The Marco Polo Porcelain, but if you haven’t read The Franklin Key or The Galileo Ducat, I’ll have those too. I’ll have a few large print, but I’m sorry, I don’t have a large print for The Marco Polo Porcelain.

And don’t forget—books make great gifts! Do you know that in Iceland it is the custom on Christmas Eve to give each other books, and then to spend the night reading. It’s called Jólabókaflóð. What a great idea! It began roughly during the Second World War, when so many things were rationed, but paper was not.  How to turn a negative into a positive! Icelanders rock!

See you soon. keep reading. ❤️ Marja

P.S. Oh, and Happy Halloween!
