I’m back to writing most days. And The Marco Polo Porcelain is over 49,000 words now. So we’re getting there. There are a lot of odds and ends that I’m trying to tie up as I go. I hope you will like this one. You’ll meet some fascinating characters, both real and imagined.

The second Fairy Godfather story is with the illustrator. I am hoping we’ll have it ready to publish by early November. It’s called The Fairy Godfather Goes to School. There’s a third one in the back of my mind, The Fairy Godfather Goes to the Zoo. But I don’t yet know what happens at the zoo. Poppy needs to be a major character. Her fairy godfather, Roger, goes to the zoo for a reason. I just don’t know why. If you have ideas, feel free to write to me. I’d be glad to give you credit.

Dear Donald has several new letters added. One is about his treatment of women. Another is about the “war” with Iran. I use quote marks because legally, only Congress can declare a war with another country, and in this case they have not. In theory, if you bought the e-book of Dear Donald, you should be able to go to your Amazon library and update it when new letters are added. Honest truth? I haven’t tried it so I don’t know if it works. Maybe I’ll buy a copy of my own book just to find out. 😄 Hope you're having a good week. Happy reading! Marja
