Oh my goodness! In my last post I told you that the Guardian in The Marco Polo Porcelain  is Kublai Kahn. The Kahn is a very important character, but Marco has just informed me that HE is the Guardian. It’s all a little confusing because the artifact, an ancient porcelain “chop” (seal) and its Book of Past and Future History have become separated not once but twice in history. Will Leah and Stuart find the missing Book? Will they be able to find the family that should be doing the jumping in East Asia? 

I love learning new bits of history. I’ve learned so much about the Mongolian Empire working on the new novel. But I’m also learning a new kind of patience. I’m learning that even in my own novel, I don’t always know everything. I have a lot yet to learn but I promise you it will be an adventure!
