On Saturday, I went to a Holiday Fair at a nearby Assisted Living Facility. At first, I was afraid I wasn't going to sell anything. But pretty soon, people started stopping at my display and chatting. Before I knew it, I had sold seven books. That may not sound like a lot to you, but to a self-published author, that's huge for nine day.

Hermes what made it extra fun: one of the residents dressed up as Santa Claus. He was there so other residents, and especially their grandchildren, could have a picture taken with “Santa”. But he gladly came to my display and let someone take a picture of the two of us. Here it is (p.s. It was a very fun day!):
